In this third of the 'Center Stage' dance films, American Ballet Company (ABC) head Jonathan Reeves (Peter Gallagher), is having serious financial problems at the academy. Seeking to expand to expand its repertoire from ballet to add the more popular contemporary dance, Jonathan recruits his top three choreographers Tommy Anderson (Kenny Wormald), Charlie Sims (Sascha Radetsky), and Cooper Nielson (Ethan Stiefel) (all of whom are from the previous two 'Center Stage' films) start a competitive camp to recruit new dancers for ABC. Meanwhile, Bella Parker (Nicole Muñoz) has always been in the shadow of her sister Kate (Rachele Brooke Smith), a famous ballet dancer (introduced in the previous film). Bella changes her last name to Miller to avoid comparisons and, to her surprise, she is chosen for the camp. Bella has trouble fitting in, and the lead instructor, Lorenza (Sarah-Jane Redmond), a ballet snob, is brutally critical of Bella's dancing. When she is partnered with quiet Damon (Barton Cowperthwite), however, she gains confidence, as the two open up to each other. Finding a male stripper's thong around her neck, Halley, who is recovering from a broken arm she got after a car accident with Macon on New Year's Eve, witnesses the break-up of her sister's engagement. She also learns that her mother sneaks out once a week to have sex with a man she met a couple of weeks previous, Steve. After another make-up, Lewis proposes to Ashley again, this time at a crowded airport; she says yes. Halley's father, Len Martin marries his mistress, Lorna, in a beach-side ceremony, with guests from all over the world...or "within his radio frequency" as Halley puts it.In the end, Ashley and Lewis are married, as Lewis puts his foot down on the boundaries between his marriage to Ashley and his parents. Scarlett gives birth to a baby boy that she names Michael, and Halley and Macon agree to pursue their relationship again.

Kate then confesses to her sister that she was not accepted into the school and decides to leave New York and go with Bella back to Detroit.The next morning while waiting for the bus, Bella shows Kate a leaflet Tommy gave her, advertising an audition for "The Glass Slipper", a Broadway ballet version of Cinderella that Monica Strauss is casting. Kate decides to give her dancing dream one last shot. Bella and Kate go to the audition theater, and about seven blocks away was the end of the line. When Kate gets into a final audition with two other girls and three boys, including Tommy, they try finding the cast of Cinderella and the two stepsisters. Monica Straus asks Tommy to dance with Suzanne but he rejects her and offers the dance to Kate. Tommy gets the part of the prince and Kate gets the part of Cinderella, her dreams of dancing professionaly having come true at last.

1959. Along the way, Vinnie has convince others into his vision for the transformations to succeed, such people as Brenda Roberts, the editor of Teen Scene magazine. Ultimately both Vinnie and his acts get lost in their own personal issues, Tommy Dee and Caesare wanting primarily the trappings of fame forgetting how they got there, and Vinnie sacrificing his and everyone else's lives to achieve his visions that he could not achieve on his own.
