Duran Duran's peerless live show is captured for the big screen in this feature-length docu-concert film that celebrates the iconic band's four-decade career and their love affair with the city of Los Angeles. The movie features exclusive new interviews with the four band members where they share memories of the early years and anecdotes about LA, behind-the-scenes footage showing the moments leading up to the show, and rare archival material, alongside a stunning rooftop set that was shot at The Aster in Hollywood in March 2022, overlooked by both the Hollywood sign and the iconic Capitol Records Tower (which was the band's original label home). The audience at the exclusive concert performance were treated to many of the band's multi-platinum hits, including: A View to a Kill, Come Undone, Notorious, Hungry Like The Wolf, Tonight United and Ordinary World, during which they lit up the Capitol building in the colours of the Ukrainian flag as a gesture of solidarity with the people of the besieged country. The release of A HOLLYWOOD HIGH in November 2022 capped off a stellar year for Duran Duran, during which they were confirmed as inductees into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, released their 15th studio album FUTURE PAST, performed live at Buckingham Palace during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, headlined London's Hyde Park, and, in a full-circle moment, closed the opening ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games in their hometown of Birmingham. All this before embarking on a huge headline tour of North America that included sold out shows at iconic venues such as New York's Madison Square Garden and three nights at the Hollywood Bowl, thus confirming their status as one of the most influential and successful bands of all time.
